If I’m wearing extensions, can I still use hairspray?

If you’re wearing extensions (especially from Bella Glam):
Use an alcohol-free, lightweight, flexible hold hairspray.
Heavy or alcohol-based sprays can dry out both natural hair and extensions, causing stiffness or breakage near the bonds.

Recommended:

Kenra Platinum Working Spray 14 (great for soft styling and safe for extensions)

Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray (Medium Hold) – adds shine and control without buildup

Oribe Superfine Hairspray – luxe feel, flexible hold, safe on color and extensions

If you’re styling fine or thin hair:
Choose a volumizing or texturizing spray with a light to medium hold. Avoid heavy or wet-finish sprays that weigh the hair down.

Recommended:

Paul Mitchell Extra Body Finishing Spray

Living Proof Flex Hairspray

If you have thick or curly hair:
Look for a strong hold or humidity-resistant spray to lock in curls or sleek styles.

Recommended:

TRESemmé TRES Two Extra Hold Hairspray

Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine Anti-Humidity Hairspray

Pro Tips:
Always hold the spray 8 to 12 inches away from your hair.

Start light. You can always add more.

For extensions, never spray too close to the bonds or roots.
